READER MOTORCYCLE REVIEW: 2008 Honda Shadow Spirit C2 750

I purchased my Honda Shadow Spirit with only 400 miles on it. I love this bike! The bike is approximately 600 pounds but is weighted very well. Before I purchased this bike, I was riding a Honda Shadow VLX 600, which was very top-heavy. I bought the Spirit with the red windshield, engine guard and saddlebags already on it.

Sonya Gordon wanted everyone to know the brand new Kawasaki 650R she was riding belonged to her and not her husband or son. What was her solution? MOTORCYCLE REVIEW: Why Women Love the Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe

If you asked me which motorcycle among Harley-Davidsons Big Twin models is the most popular with women riders, Id answer the Softail Deluxe FLSTN, judging by my own observations attending events and getting out there among the female motorcycling community. Ever since the motorcycles introduction in 2005, Ive seen more women riding that motorcycle than any of the other Softails, Dynas, and Touring model platforms, those considered the “Big Twins.”

READER MOTORCYCLE REVIEW: 2009 Roar WildKaT

I missed the formal unveiling of Roar Motorcycles WildKaT motorcycle, which took place during Daytona BikeWeek 2009. I had briefly stopped in at Roar the day it arrived, but the bike was in the back of the shop getting some tweaking, and I was heading home to Tampa.

READER MOTORCYCLE REVIEW: 2006 Victory Vegas 8-Ball

After several years of riding on a Honda Shadow Spirit 750, I decided to start saving my money for what I thought would be a Harley-Davidson Fat Boy. When I was ready to make my big purchase, I decided that I should probably test ride a few other bikes. After all, I wouldnt spend that kind of money on a car without testing various brands and models.

MOTORCYCLE REVIEW: 2008 Ducati GT 1000: Worth a Second Look

I realize Im not the target demographic Ducati intended for the GT 1000. After all, I was only about to be conceived when Ducati designer Fabio Taglioni sketched out an image of the bike that would become legendary to many motorcycle historians and the basis for this modern-day, retro-styled sport standard.

READER MOTORCYCLE REVIEW: 2007 Buell Ulysses

The Buell motorcycles have come a long way since the late 1990s, from tubular frames to frames with the gas tank included in the design. Riding a Buell motorcycle is unique in that you are included in the Harley, BMW and metric sportbike crowd. Most of the models look like the metric sportbikes but are actually open standard motorcycles, with the exception of the new 1125R and the Buell Firebolt.

How To Ride With A Sidecar

One of these days you might get the itch to learn something about motorcycle/sidecar combinations. Maybe youve got children youd like to bring on the ride, but you refuse to risk their safety on the back of a two-wheeler. Maybe your vintage legs are getting a little wobbly and youre thinking about the stability of a three-wheeled motorcycle that doesnt fall down.
