Handlebars, Shocks Footpegs for Short and Tall Riders

Just like the three bears beds for Goldilocks, our stock motorcycles are just not right sometimes. Often its a matter of adjusting the handlebars, the footpegs or the shocks. Fortunately, Harley-Davidson is aware that not all riders are built the same, so over the last few years, engineers in the PA department have been designing various parts to accommodate shorter and taller-than-average riders. We also included something every rider should have—a set of auxiliary riding lights from Motolight.

PRODUCT REVIEW: Rukka Armiina Riding Suit

I live in Idaho, and our riding season is quite short—we’re lucky if we’re able to ride seven months out of the year. But earlier this spring, I was fortunate enough to receive a Rukka Armiina riding suit to try out. The Armiina is a three-season motorcycle-riding suit intended to insulate you from the weather and give you more time on the road. I am pleased to say that I (comfortably!) started riding a month earlier than usual thanks to this suit.

PRODUCT REVIEW: Kids’ Riding Gear

I’ve always enjoyed taking passengers and sharing my passion for riding motorcycles. But when my young daughter, Kaia, started asking me to take her for rides, I would immediately dismiss the idea. It’s one thing to accept the risk of injuring my own body, but to put my own daughter at risk was unimaginable.

PRODUCT REVIEW: Powerlet Heated Jacket Liner Power Outlet

OK, I’m embarrassed. I normally turn around product reviews in six to eight months, but this review of Powerlet’s heated gear has taken me almost three years to write. Why? Because I was gun shy. I always said I wouldn’t succumb to using heated gear. If it’s so cold that I need heated clothing, then I ain’t ridin’—that’s been my mantra all these years.
