The Top 50 Rally Park venue in Sturgis will hold a Womens Day on Friday, August 10, 2007 to celebrate the adrenaline, freedom and independence motorcycling brings to a woman rider. Along with showcasing women leaders in the motorcycle industry, the days events are dedicated to awareness, safety, and fun.

A year in the making, direct from Edinburgh, Scotland, glass artist Joe Stanaways The Glass Ride exhibit will open to the public at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29 at the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum Hall of Fame. The Glass Ride is a full scale glass sculptor replica of a “chopper” motorcycle with kiln cast and blown glass components.

I recently bought a used 1999 Yamaha Road Star. As is typical with a used vehicle purchase, I received one key for it. My mistake was not immediately having a second key made. Im not even sure the Yamaha dealership could have cut me a new key, but Im pretty sure most of the local neighborhood hardware stores could not have.

On Thursday, July 26, the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum in Pickerington, Ohio, will honor AMA Supercross icon Jeremy McGrath with a unique bronze sculpture commissioned by Supercross promotor Live Nation and crafted by artist Steve Posson. When McGrath announced his retirement from racing full-time on a professional level, Live Nation committed to commemorating his accomplishments through numerous tributes.
