She is an experienced motorcycle industry professional who has more than 30 years experience in both the retail and wholesale ends of the business. She has owned and managed an off-road motorcycle dealership for more than 28 years, and assisted in the development in the shops eCommerce Web site. Patti is also an accomplished equestrian riding for more than 30 years, and has competed in Appaloosa Breed Shows winning numerous world and national championships.

Women Rider TV Pilots in the Works

Three television reality programs featuring women riders are currently being shopped to cable and broadcast television network executives. The first reality program is called Iron Angels. Producer Steve Schultz of B.O.M Productions in Hollywood, California, conceived the idea and shot a pilot for a one-hour show. Schultz previously worked on several Biker Buildoff shows that aired on Discovery Channel.

With the morning heat already reaching 85 degrees, the cool mountain air was refreshing. I motioned to Robin that I wanted to get off the main highway and take a detour through the Klickitat Valley. Beautiful twisties wind along the gorgeous Klickitat River, definitely one of my favorites in Washington. We were in high desert country and the weather was perfect.

In the morning we hit the road veering off towards Crater Lake. The weather was turning grim. The clouds were looming by the mountains and the desert sky was full of black rain clouds. We laid low by the side of the road watching a groovy wind thing happen in a field. It looked like a small tornado. The weather system didnt seem to be passing us, so after a couple of hours we got back on our bikes. Well, we must have ridden right into the heart of the storm.

Americade, celebrating its 24th year in the Lake George region, announced it has added Dual-Sport MiniTours to its large array of organized riding activities. According to the events founder, Bill Dutcher, “Our many MiniTours have always distinguished our event from all others, but after 23 years of only on-road tours, with our desire to accommodate this growing market, we are introducing the Dual-Sport Adirondack Ramble.”
