With the theme “Riding to New Heights,” the 2009 American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) International Women Motorcycling Conference, presented by Harley-Davidson and Buell, wrapped up in Keystone, Colo., on Sunday following four inspired days of riding, learning and networking in one of the best riding areas in the United States.

Its nice to be able to talk with your riding partner through headsets that communicate with each other, but older technology has wires that connect your helmet headset to a receiver on your motorcycle. A new product from Cardo Systems eliminates those wires making the whole device simpler.

The official attendance numbers for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally 2009 are not been tallied yet, but judging by being there all week during the first week in August and comparing the event to other years both attendance and vendor participation were significantly down to be expected in a recession year. However a few less tens of thousand motorcyclists doesnt affect the fun and revelry that goes on and this year was no different.
