PRODUCT REVIEW: Schuberth C3W Helmet, Just for Women!

Talk about hitting a nerve! After we posted a story last year about the introduction of Schuberth’s new C3W, the ladies’ version of its C3 flip-up full-face helmet, many WRN readers sent in comments slamming the $699 price tag. Lynn from Illinois wrote, “Like the looks and design, but I cant afford the price. I have to keep buying those lottery tickets!”

PRODUCT REVIEW: Powerlet Heated Jacket Liner Power Outlet

OK, I’m embarrassed. I normally turn around product reviews in six to eight months, but this review of Powerlet’s heated gear has taken me almost three years to write. Why? Because I was gun shy. Reader Story: Myrtle Beach Bike Week (Not Like It Used to Be)

We decided to give Myrtle Beach Bike Week a try when my friend suggested we visit her timeshare. We had read stories about how Myrtle Beach residents didnt want the “big bad bikers” and had instituted a number of laws to convince us to stay home or at least pick somewhere else to vacation. Undaunted by the bad press, we set out on a beautiful Thursday afternoon in early May to see if the press was making it out to be as bad as it truly was.

Backroads With Betsy: Hobnobbing with Celebrity Riders

Spring has sprung. Love is in the air. And finally, bikes are everywhere! The economy may be suffering, the motorcycle industry may be feeling the effects, but the simple pleasure of riding a motorcycle has always been an economical mode of travel and entertainment. And when the stress of the world piles up along with the unpaid bills, what better therapy, or break from the madness, is there than riding on sunny spring days in the local hills?
