Women Riders Now editor Genevieve Schmitt is among the first “citizens” to ride Victorys Vision motorcycle when select members of the motorcycle press were invited in mid-June to test this much talked-about motorcycle. Up until that point, the only people to ride the new luxury tourer were Victory employee test riders.

An old rider friend of mine shared a cleaning secret with me years ago. He saves his old cotton T-shirts, cuts them up into rags, and uses them slightly wet to wipe down his motorcycle for a quick clean-up.

I learned the hard way. When on long road trips, I, like most riders, would clean my windshield at a gas station using the provided squeegee and paper towels. This years Legend of the Motorcycle Concours dElegance hosted a private pre-event ride that broke new ground in the industry by uniting executives from motorcycle manufacturers Confederate, Ducati, MV Agusta, and Triumph in a first-of-its-kind activity. Joining the ride were select media representatives, executives from Lucky Brand Jeans and Smith Hawken, and guests Peter Fonda and Charley Boorman.
