The public is invited to celebrate the 33rd Annual AMA Pro Racing Championship Awards Banquet held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel Casino on Sunday evening, November 18. The celebration held each year wraps up AMA Racings professional championship season honoring the top riders in American motorcycle racing.

Motorcycle safety advocate Don Gomo is the recipient of this years “Outstanding Motorcycle Safety Award,” presented by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). A year in the making, direct from Edinburgh, Scotland, glass artist Joe Stanaways The Glass Ride exhibit will open to the public at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29 at the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum Hall of Fame. The Glass Ride is a full scale glass sculptor replica of a “chopper” motorcycle with kiln cast and blown glass components.

During the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally happening August 4-11, Harley-Davidson will feature new activities and events geared towards women at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.

Harley-Davidson will celebrate its 105th Anniversary in style as thousands of loyal Harley enthusiasts ride home to Milwaukee via 105 different official starting points and along 25 major routes across the country. The celebration will take place August 28-31, 2008, with several exclusive ticketed events, as well as many activities that are free and open to the public.
