The 2009 American Motorcyclist Associations International Women Motorcycling Conference will take place at the Keystone Resort Conference Center in Keystone, Colorado.

OCC Motorcycles is adding two new bikes to their Limited Edition Production Line. Paul Sr., Paul Jr. and Mikey Teutel of “American Chopper” TV fame recently unveiled the motorcycles at the 2008 V-Twin Expo in Cincinnati, a trade show open to dealers.

In 2008, Amazon Heart Thunder rides are being offered up the West Coast of California, September 4–13 from L.A. to San Francisco, and the East Coast of Australia in October.

Successful AHDRA drag racer Valerie Thompson will now race in the NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Class, viewed as a step up in the drag racing world. She will pilot an SS G2 Buell in all rounds of this leading drag racing series.

On March 4, 2008, in Daytona, Fla., 500 women riders will join together in the Harley-Davidson Women’s Day Ride, benefiting Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). The ride was originally to be limited to 105 women; but after an incredible response from women riders Harley-Davidson decided to increase the size to 500 creating what may be the largest women’s ride in their 105-year history.
