American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) 2013 Recap

Its always fun to check out new motorcycle products and test ride new bikes and I did just that a couple of weeks ago in Orlando, Fla., at the debut of a new motorcycle industry tradeshow held October 16-20, 2013. The American International Motorcycle Expo, AIMExpo for short, is the first of its kind in the U.S. that welcomed dealers, members of the industry trade, media, and consumers all in one place under one roof.

Clothing Review: Harley-Davidson Pink Label 3-in-1 Jacket, Chaps and Gloves

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to shine the spotlight on the efforts being made to eradicate this disease. Harley-Davidson MotorClothes has contributed to the cause by donating a portion of its Pink Label Collection sales to organizations that support breast cancer patients and their families. What an ideal time to review some items in Harley-Davidsons Pink Label Collection.

Although most riders associate the gear from Fly Racing with dirt bikes and other forms of off-road motorcycling, the company has been beefing up its line of street motorcycle gear, offering a small collection of womens street-biking apparel that includes jackets, pants and gloves.

Aerostich Now Making Women’s Riding Suits

The Roadcrafter from Aerostitch is one of motorcyclings oldest and most popular riding suits. Developed in 1984, the Roadcrafter has been the suit of choice for thousands of riders heading out on world tours. Now Aerostich is following the lead of many major motorcycle apparel manufacturers and making sizes cut specifically for women riders.

Product Review: Alpinestars Stella T-Fuel Waterproof Jacket and Stella Tyla Gloves

I like when a motorcycle jacket is described as being “specifically styled and cut for women” and truly is. The Alpinestars Stella T-Fuel Waterproof Jacket has smaller-circumference closures at the wrists and neck to correctly fit a woman’s features, plus an extended profile makes it long enough to fit over a womans hips.
