A new coffee table book has come out about our favorite topic, women and motorcycling. “Chicks on Bikes” by Christina Shook debuted at the AMA International Women and Motorcycling Conference in Keystone, Colorado. According to the press release on the book, Chicks on Bikes is the first book to visually chronicle the culture and lifestyle of real women motorcyclists.

I recently tested a pair of TCX Sunray Gore-Tex womens boots and reach for them now every time I hop on a motorcycle. The Sunray boots arent just smaller-sized mens boots. Ive been riding a motorcycle for 20 years and in all that time Im usually wearing Levi jeans. I was introduced to Biker Premium Jeans earlier this spring, jeans made specifically for riding. Tami asked 100 women why they prefer life on two wheels and compiled their answers. “Why We Ride” tells why these women decided to break the mold and ride a motorcycle. This is an inspiring book with accounts from interesting women riders like Laura Klock, Sara Liberte, Jody Perewitz, and Dawn Williams.
One of the biggest inconveniences on the road for women is having to squat in the bushes while traffic is whizzing by, or trying not to touch anything in disgusting public restrooms.
