Ride For Kids Breaks Fundraising Record in 2007

The national Ride for Kids program is celebrating a huge victory in 2007, once again breaking its own fundraising record for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF). This years events generated more than $4.5 million to fund medical research and family support programs, proving for the 24th consecutive year that motorcyclists are making a difference for kids with brain tumors.

Women who want to try motorcycling on for size now have a special place to go at the countrys biggest traveling public motorcycle exhibition. The Discover Todays Motorcycling Womens Studio debuts Friday at the Cycle World International Motorcycle Show inside the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center.

Harley-Davidson Dealership Opens In East China

Harley-Davidson opened its first authorized dealership in East China on Nov. 3, 2007 in Shanghai. Jim Ziemer, CEO of Harley-Davidson, David Foley, Harley-Davidson Asia Inc.s Managing Director for China, and Mr. Wan Jiwen, Manager of Shanghai Harley-Davidson, took part in a special ceremony activating an eye-catching flame-display of the well-known Harley-Davidson Bar Shield logo.
