May marks the third annual Women Riders Month, which celebrates women who already ride and inspires other women to grab life by the handlebars. There are several significant events to take note of that month, the first being International Female Ride Day on May 6, 2011.

I love when a company puts its money where its mouth is—companies that say women are an important, influential and powerful demographic in motorcycling and then do something about it. Can-Ams Spyder parent company, BRP, is holding two women-only demo events in April allowing female riders to test the new three-wheeled Spyder roadster in a very pleasant and inviting experience.
