While fit and function are the most important criteria, I want to get them in the fewest number of layers and pieces.

After about two hours into the MSF course, I was told that since I was having difficulty completing the exercise properly I was done and needed to leave. Once you are asked to leave, that means you go away and dont come back and forfeit your enrollment fee. Are there other women out there who have had a similar experience that have gone on to become riders?

For me, the Steel Horse Sisterhood Summit was also a sort of coming-of-age as a female motorcycle rider, having never attended such an event before. Being accepted with open arms by hundreds of seasoned motorcyclists made it feel as if I had reached a milestone in my year and a half experience of riding. No competition, no cattiness, no judgment; just kinship on an unspoken level.
