According to the rally pins I collect each time I go, the last Daytona Bike Week I attended was in 2002. Other than the fact that there was more attention paid to women riders – yea! to the Harley womens parade – and more trikes on the road, the rally looked pretty much the same to me.

Daytona Bike Week 2008: Whats there for women
The Harley-Davidson CVO program creates limited edition, exclusive motorcycles produced by teams of technicians in a special assembly area at the Harley-Davidson plants in York, Pa., and Kansas City. Each year several of the regular models are chosen to go through the CVO treatment. These custom bikes feature a Twin Cam 110, the largest displacement production engine offered by Harley. To celebrate the increase in women riding their own motorcycles, Harley-Davidson organized a womens parade taking place during Daytona Bike Week 2008. The parade was the culmination of the “Get Down to Daytona” contest where six winners submitted videos talking about their riding mentors. WRNs Genevieve Schmitt was there covering the event.
