A new traveling showcase dedicated to women motorcycle riders called The Vagabond Chopper Companys 2010 Chicks Rule Boys Drool Tour continues its 12 city road trip with its next stop at Daytona Bike Week in in Florida from March February 26 to March 7. Bike builder Athena “Chickie” Ransom, owner of The Vagabond Chopper Company, came up with the idea for the rolling tribute to women bikers that offers a mix of on-site how-to seminars, fashion shows, book signings and special guest appearances with a feminine flare.

Harley-Davidson Motor Company is partnering with TVs The Biggest Loser host Jillian Michaels to encourage women to gear up and get behind the handlebars of their own motorcycle. Michaels, a life-long motorcycle enthusiast and licensed rider, is teaming with the Motor Company to spotlight National Garage Party Month.

Women Riders Now recently posted two new stories highlighting women riders doing great things. You can find that story in the Way To Go Girl! section. Two women are undertaking rides of a lifetime while others are being recognized for their years of dedication to the sport of motorcycling.

Harley-Davidson is calling March 2010 National Garage Party Month a time when dealerships across the country will host Garage Party events. Harley-Davidson Garage Parties provide a fun, social environment for women to learn about the sport of motorcycling, as well as meet other women who are interested in riding.

The Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada (MCC) will host an International Women Riders Congress and Festival (IWCF) at Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ontario, August 11 to 15, 2010. The MCC is extremely pleased that Honda Canada will be supporting this event as the Presenting Partner.
