“Pearl’s Jam” Sturgis Celebration

For the first time in its history, the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame is throwing a party just for us—women who ride, wrench, race, and shape the motorcycle world. "Pearl's Jam" takes place Monday, August 4th during the 85th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. More than just an event—it’s a celebration of legacy, empowerment, and the powerful presence of women in motorcycling.

“Pearl’s Jam” is named in honor of Pearl Hoel. She was the co-founder of the Sturgis Rally and a pivotal figure in motorcycle culture. The full-day event offers something for every rider—whether you’re cruising Main Street or diving deep into the history and future of women in powersports.

Pearl and Pappy Hoel co-founded the Sturgis Rally in 1938—The “Pearl’s Jam” namesake helped lay the foundation for what would become one of the world’s most iconic motorcycle gatherings.
