Tami Walker, owner of Diva Customs, a specialty garage for female riders, has released a new book about women. Tami asked 100 women why they prefer life on two wheels and compiled their answers. “Why We Ride” tells why these women decided to break the mold and ride a motorcycle. Genevieve Goes to the 2009 Sturgis Rally

The official attendance numbers for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally 2009 are not been tallied yet, but judging by being there all week during the first week in August and comparing the event to other years both attendance and vendor participation were significantly down to be expected in a recession year. Genevieve Goes to the Sturgis Rally 2009 Part 1

Those who know me know Im a big fan of one rally the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. I love the Black Hills area of South Dakota so much that Ive been heading to the big event the first week in August for the last 14 years. I skipped just one rally in 2002. Ive seen lots of changes over the years, including a noticeable increase in women riders this year. Id say nearly one in five bikes was ridden by a woman.

PRODUCT REVIEW: Scala Rider Q2 Motorcycle Intercom System

The Scala Rider Q2 Multi-Set communication system by Cardo Systems, Inc. remedies the problem, making helmet-to-helmet communication a much simpler and less eventful task.
