Vhonda and her 2002 Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider.

The bike I choose to ride is a 2002 Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider. I absolutely love it! Several years ago, I saw one and thought at that moment, “This is the bike for me.” She doesnt have all the bells and whistles, like a lot of chrome and such. The only thing I have done is put a set of forward controls on her, but that would be the riders preference.

There are several reasons for choosing this bike. The main reason is that I am 5-foot-5 and weigh about 122 pounds. She sits low enough that I have control at stop signs, red lights, on an incline or just sitting still in a parking lot. Both my feet are flat on the ground, and the Dyna is at a comfortable position in my stride when standing. I do not have to tiptoe to reach the ground or the controls. The Dyna handles well in a curve. She is not too heavy, even with a full tank of gas. She rides nice and smooth, and my back does not hurt, though for other riders that would depend on the seat. There is probably something else out there that rides just as well, but I absolutely love riding my Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider.
