MotoQuest Tours is offering an incredible motorcycle tour just for women riders through the Alaskan wilderness this summer. This eight-day, seven-night, all paved ride starts in Anchorage and heads north through Denali National Park to Fairbanks.
An all female crew of experienced guides and support staff make it easier to leave inhibitions and fears in the lower 48 and ease out of your confort zone while experiencing this “trip of a lifetime.” Guides Nicole and Crystal have been adventuring in Alaska for years and have backcountry first aid training and mechanical knowledge.
The all paved route totals about 1200 miles wtih day rides averaging about 250 miles so riders can take their time and enjoy the sights. Maps are provided daily so riders have the option of touring with the group or on their own. The tour includes some of the finest lodges and restaurants in Alaska. MotoQuest Tours promotional materials say, “Calling this trip a scenic ride is a gross understatement; the views from the road and side trips are breathtaking!”
Glaciers, hot springs, Mount McKinley and Denali National Park, mountain passes, great lodges, and Alaskan trading posts are just part of this incredible opportunity to enter the world of motorcycle touring and create memories with other women riders.

REVIEW: Motorcycling to Alaska DVD
It sounds like an awesome adventure and definitely something to save for. I believe the single rate only applies if you don't want to share a room with someone. Take a friend or relative and save the extra cash.
You are in for a treat for sure. Alaska is a beautiful state with lots to see. I hope the weather is good for you, we do seem to get extremes some summers (like smoke, rain) but an average summer is not too bad at all. If you can, be sure to come to our little “Christmas” town in North Pole. It's only a 15 minute ride from Fairbanks. We have a Santa Claus House (large gift shop) complete with reindeer. It's a small but fun town to see. Have a great ride!
I agree what a fantastic trip that would be. Too bad it is so expensive and yes, that single supplement stinks big time and definitely leaves me out. Good article though.
If you ever need any help whil you are in and around Fairbanks, just give me a holler. I am the president of the local Chrisitan Motorcyclists Association and we have about 8 to 9 ladies who ride. Unfortunately, we will be on our own ride that weekend towards either Haines or Whitehorse, not sure yet.
Might I suggest a cool place to stop and eat is the new Harley's Diner along the Richardson Hwy about nine miles out of Fairbanks. Geared towards motorcycle riders and the current owner is my chapter treasurer.
God Bless your trip, sounds like fun!

I agree that when you are single
and you get penalized and have to pay more than couples, it really does suck? Someone should come up with a system to pair single ladies up.
This would be fun except they penalize us single women. $800 extra if you're single. That sucks. $2,500 is expensive enough. Too rich for my blood. I'd love to do it though. Oh well.
What a fantastic opportunity! I'm wishin' I'm goin'!
