The Adventures of Mimi and Moto: The Motorcycle Monkeys is a children’s motorcycle book that is a fun way for adults to share their love of riding with their young family members.
The book was written by the husband and wife team of Nancy Gerloff and Mark Augustyn. Nancy says, “We created Mimi and Moto to help parents and grandparents share their passion for riding motorcycles with their children and grandchildren. The book is geared for ages 1 and up and young readers. We hope it becomes the ‘first’ motorcycle book families introduce to their children.”
“We were inspired by our infant daughter when she began looking through the American Motorcyclist magazines we had at home,” says Mark. He adds, “Through the playful and charming characters of Mimi and Moto, we want riders to share important lessons with their children and grandchildren.
The four lessons in the book are: 1) motorcycling is fun, 2) safety always comes first, 3) girls and boys ride, and 4) there are many different kinds of motorcycles.
Riding the success of the first book, Nancy and Mark debuted their new release at the 2019 AIMExpo, winning WRN’s award for “Best Off-The-Bike Product.” Mimi and Moto Ride The Alphabet is just as adorable as the first book. Colorful illustrations of Mimi and Moto and their family and friends represent all aspects of motorcycling, covering hill climbs, motocross, choppers, dual-sports, vintage bikes, and so much more.
Educational and inspiring, Mimi and Moto Ride The Alphabet helps girls and boys learn to read while sparking their motorcycle imaginations. We particularly like how safety-conscious the duo is, as their wonderfully vibrant gear match their equally colorful motorcycles. Non-gender biased, both Mimi and Moto ride with both Mom and Dad’s full support.
WRN highly recommends these books for all young people no matter what their interest—let’s get our little ones excited about two-wheeled possibilities while learning to read!
The hardcover books retail for $14.99 each or you can choose a two-book bundle for $24.99 and are available on the MimiAndMoto.com website. Be sure to use code WRN2020 before January 19, 2021 to save 20%.
