I have been riding since 1986. My first bike was a Kawasaki ZR750, a bike I just loved. In fact, I promised myself I wouldnt trade it in unless I found one that was liquid-cooled and that I had to have.
I had to have the 2003 Kawasaki Z1000. The look is clean and sporty. It accelerates with hardly a twist of the throttle and corners great. I love to take it out on the twisties. Its fun at rallies and rides when guys walk by and realize its an “old chicks bike” (Im 47). The only modification Ive made so far is a Corbin seat. Since I injured my knee, I have a hard time pushing the bike backwards, so I am presently putting on lowering links.
