The motorcycle is barely on showroom floors, yet there is already GPS/accessory mount for the new Kawasaki Concours 14. TechMount Accessory Mounting Systems has created a specially designed unit to mount in the center area between the handlebars for easy visibility. The new TechMount unit provides a solid and secure base for a GPS or other accessories like a satellite radio, radar detector, video recorder, cell-phone, PDA , and toll-transponder, with the appropriate optional accessory plates. Replacement shafts are available to change the mounting-plate height, and there is also a double-top-plate kit to mount different accessories side by side.

All TechMount systems are designed to be an attractive, aesthetically-pleasing accessory so as not to take away from the beauty of the bike. CNC-machined from 6061 Aluminum billet to tolerances as tight as ten-thousandths of an inch, it is then anodized to both protect it from the elements and to beautifully match the bikes fit and finish. The Concours unit has a titanium finish. The kit also contains all the tools for a “very easy” installation.

TechMount holds 12 U.S. and international patents, and are all designed and manufactured in the U.S. Suggested retail for the new Concours 14 mounting system is $79.95. Units for other bike and ATV applications range from $59.95 to $94.95. Details and a Dealer Locator can be found at TechMounts.com. Units can be ordered directly from the Web site if no TechMount dealers are close by.
