Harley's only liquid-cooled platform

As the only Harley-Davidson platform powered by the Revolution V-Twin, a liquid-cooled 1250cc engine, the VRSC family offers sleek, dragbike styling and the performance of high-revving horsepower. The bikes distinct look features a low seat, a stretched-out profile with a 36-degree rake, and premium components like Brembo triple-disc brakes. For 2008, all VRSC models received an increase in displacement from 1130cc to 1250cc, and a new race-inspired slipper clutch that improves performance and reduces clutch lever effort by 20 percent. ABS brakes is optional on all the models. These are the power cruisers that share the performance and technology legacy of the Screamin Eagle / Vance amp; Hines drag racing team, three-time NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle World Champions. for 2009, the bigger, beefier V-Rod Muscle was added to the line up. Description
The new V-Rod muscle is a larger bike than the other V-Rods at 673 pounds with a very low seat height of 25.6 inches. The new deep seat holds the rider firmly in place against the thrust of the 1250cc Revolution V-Twin engine. The Muscle features forward foot controls, and a new handlebar with internal wiring. This bike has lots of other new features that make this V-Rod stand out from a crowd. Women who can handle a lot of power and can reach the distance from the seat to the forward controls and the handlebars may just fall in love with the Muscle.

Description
This V-Rod is a descendent of the model that launched the platform and continues to be popular among those wanting something different than the rest of the Harleys. The bike rolls on a big 240mm rear tire and has a claimed 121 peak horsepower at 84 foot pounds of torque. Finishing touches include laced aluminum wheels, forward controls, and pull-back handlebars. The bike packs a lot of power, but for those who like the ride, this V-Rod can be easily outfitted for touring. Weve met many women in our travels riding a customized V-Rod. This is the only VRSC model offered in the limited-edition two-tone copper and black 105th Anniversary package.

Description
The Night Rod is the basic “dark” VRSC model with a black powder-coated engine, black frame, wheels and other components. Foot controls are mounted below the riders knees versus the forward controls on the other two VRSC models. It does come with highway pegs though. The bike sports a skinnier rear tire 180mm and the pull-back handlebars are adjustible. This is the least expensive of the VRSC models.

Description
As the press notes say, the Night Rod Special is even darker and nastier than the Night Rod. It features drag bars, forward controls and an all black engine with even more black-out components. This bike is all about attitude with its fat 240mm rear tire, brushed aluminum straight-shot dual mufflers with black end caps and heat shields. An orange racing strip paint scheme traces the length of the bike. The 25.2-inch seat height makes the Night Rod Special the lowest VRSC model.
