The first option to consider when wanting to lower your seat height is changing out your motorcycle saddle. This is often the least expensive and most viable option before changing the the actual mechanics of the motorcycle like installing shorter shocks.
There are several routes to take to change out your saddle: having some foam removed from your existing seat, buying a completely new one, or having a custom one made.
