What fun it is to give (or get) a gift resembling our passion for motorcycling. From big to small, weve compiled a list of new and exciting items that make great gifts for a motorcycling friend or loved one.
Non-Harley gear would be nice. I hope some of the dealers see these comments and jump on board with more women oriented gear. How about some sport bike items, we need Christmas ideas too!
Thanks for your feedback regarding sportbike gear. We are working to incorporate more sportbike oriented gear and stories into our coverage. Problem is the companies making sportbike gear do not send us press releases so we, as editors, must pursue them to promote their products.
Thanks for choosing the Harleys Angels 2011 Calendar for your Gift Guide. Awesome motorcycle women have raised more than $471,000 and the exposure from WRN will take us over the 1/2 million mark in 2010. Continue to be a great advocate for women riders. You are the best. Have a prosperous New YearDr. Candy LockhartLifetime – Harleys Angel
Karen,We feature a lot of Harley stuff because Harley aggressively markets to women by manufacturing women’s gear and then sending out press releases about it around the holiday time. Triumph and the other brands of bikes are limited on what they offer women — and I have never received a press release from those companies about any women’s gear being marketed for a gift guide around the holidays, which is very disturbing to me quite frankly. We will be doing a women’s riding gear buyers guide in January to include aftermarket companies like Firstgear, Olympia Moto Sports, BMW, etc., but our holiday gift guides focus on products being marketed as holiday gifts and no one other company other than Harley has sent me press releases. However…be sure to visit the our WRN Advertiser Gift Guide recently posted with companies that do offer non-Harley riding products.
I second Gayla’s plea. What about us sportbike riders?

I ride a Honda but I wear Harley boots. Hey, they make nice boots!
Can you feature some non-Harley wear? Not all of us ride Harleys. I have a Triumph. Thanks!
