Who says motorcycle safety gear can’t be sexy? This new D.O.C. Reversible Safety Vest from Missing Link is form-fitting, versatile and true to its name—D.O.C. stands for “Don’t Overlook Cyclists.”
The D.O.C. women’s vest was designed by a woman motorcycle rider as a darted, contoured version of the popular men’s style. The vest is constructed of a soft, high-quality leather outer shell that reverses in seconds to a waterproof, windproof Cordura nylon inner vest. One of the vest’s most unique features is a hidden zipper along the bottom hem that allows patches and pins to be applied without affecting the other side of the vest.
The vest reverses from this soft leather outer shell to a waterproof and windproof nylon inner vest with reflective tape accents.
Available in pink and lime green, the vest is undoubtedly cute, but most importantly, it helps keep you safe by making sure you’re visible on the road. To that end, Missing Link added ScotchLite 3M reflective tape accents to provide increased visibility in low-light situations.
The women’s D.O.C. Reversible Safety Vest retails for $119.95-$129.95 and is available in women’s sizes S-4X. For more information and to purchase, visit MissingLnk.com.
I just purchased the woman’s Icon Mil-Spec Corset reflective vest in pink and I love it! You will be seen in this vest.
Interesting idea. Long have I been in search of a “cool” looking jacket – vest that has reflective quality. In my opinion it would be fantastic if we could get stylish clothing made entirely of the material manufacturers use as reflective piping on most jackets. I know it comes in white, black/grey, and pink. Why not the whole jacket instead of just the piping?
I’ve seen this vest advertised in magazines and have gone to their Web site where they have a short video. Very very intriguing. Thanks for your evaluation. It’s on my birthday list now.
