It used to be that motorcycle manufacturers would unveil all their new motorcycles at the beginning of a model year, that being mid- to late-summer. Now some manufacturers are holding one or two models to debut during the winter months at the International Motorcycle Shows consumer trade event and using that as a platform to create mid-year buzz for their brand.
Several new motorcycles were introduced at the Long Beach, Calif., and New York City Progressive International Motorcycle Shows, where media days are held to give the motorcycle press a sneak peek before the general public. Here are the new models that debuted recently, as well as other 2011 introductions we think you#8217;d like to know about.

I find there is more control and less distractions from the road. It is too busy with traffic today to have to shift. Are you considering the new automatic bike market emerging?
We have run articles on automatic motorcycles in the past, the QLINK Legacy, and Ridley motorcycles. We are also be posting review articles on WRN in the near future on these automatic transmission motorcycles: the Honda VFR, and the Aprilia Mana.

Speaking of 2011s, I saw an article that said Kawasaki is selling a “W800” (larger W650). Anyone have more information?
