As many of our readers know, WRN Editor Genevieve Schmittserved as the womens POV editor for American Iron magazine for seven years, authoring a column called “The Way I See It.” Available on newsstands since 1989, American Iron is the leading V-twin motorcycle magazine, specializing in the coverage of American-made motorcycles from Harley-Davidson, Indian, and custom manufacturers. During her time at the magazine, Genevieve addressed a variety of topics of importance to motorcyclists, but she always remained loyal to her primary role of providing the female point of view to American Irons readers.
Genevieve officially “retired” from her column in August 2012 in order to focus her full attention on Women Riders Now, the online magazine focusing on female motorcyclists, but the topics she wrote about at American Iron continue to be of importance to motorcycle riders. Below are copies of “The Way I See It” columns from American Iron. When you click these links, your browser will begin downloading PDF versions of the articles.
