The American Motorcyclist Association has announced the U.S. team for the 2026 FIM Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup, set for March 21–22 in Wonthaggi, Australia.

Headed by team captain, Lachlan Turner, the U.S. riders face powerhouse teams from Australia, New Zealand, and FIM Asia. Turner will be racing alongside Jordan Jarvis, Jamie Astudillo, and Mayla Herrick.

Last year, Team USA made Women’s Motocross history. In its debut appearance at the event, the Americans finished second overall, missing the top step by just two points.

This year, they want more.

Building on 2025 Momentum

In 2025, the U.S. women shocked the field at the FIM Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup. The team surged to a runner-up finish and proved American WMX talent belongs on the world stage.

Team Manager Christina Denney is confident:

“We look forward to building off of last year’s success...and we have a team capable of making significant noise at this year’s competition,” Denney said. “These incredible women are the future of our sport, and we are confident they will represent the United States with pride.”

Lachlan Turner Returns as Team Captain

Reigning WMX Champion Lachlan Turner returns for her second consecutive appearance at the Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup.

In 2025, Turner delivered the best overall finish of any American rider. She went 2-3-2 in the motos and secured second overall individually. This year she's back, and brings the experience to lead the team.

Jordan Jarvis Back on the Podium Hunt

Jordan Jarvis, a professional motocross and GNCC racer, also returns to the international stage. Expect her to be a key player again in 2026.

In 2025, Jarvis joined Turner on the podium. Her 3-6-3 moto scores earned her third overall individually. Her performance played a major role in the team’s runner-up finish.

Jarvis brings grit and race craft. She knows how to manage changing track conditions, and how to fight for points.

Jamie Astudillo Adds Strength and Experience

Astudillo was instrumental in the Americans’ second-place finish last year. Her consistency helped secure valuable team points throughout the weekend.

That experience matters at an international event.

Mayla Herrick: The Rising Star

New to the team this year is Mayla Herrick.

Herrick has been climbing fast through the amateur motocross ranks. As a member of Team Dunlop Elite, she has captured major titles at events like the Ponca City Motoplayground Race and Spring A Ding Ding.

Now she steps onto the international stage. It’s a big opportunity, and a powerful statement about the next generation of American women in motocross.

Eyes on Wonthaggi

The 2026 FIM Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup will take place in Wonthaggi, Australia, March 21–22.

The U.S. team will face strong competition from Australia, New Zealand, and FIM Asia. The Australians narrowly held off Team USA in 2025. Expect another tight battle.

For American women’s motocross, this event is more than a race. It’s a chance to showcase the depth of WMX talent.

And if last year was any indication, Team USA is ready to make serious noise on the world stage.
