OCC Production Bike Launches a Success

New motorcycles unveiled

The Teutels of Orange County Choppers unveiled their new limited edition bike line recently before industry executives and then later at Sturgis before a large crowd.

Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. look on as OCC shop foreman Mike Ammirati talks about the new line of motorcycles.

On Thursday, July 26, OCC hosted the industry launch of the OCC Motorcycles Limited Edition Production Bike Line at their headquarters in Montgomery, New York. The launch was a tremendous success, and was attended by a host of media heavyweights and representatives of many of the biggest names in the v-twin industry.

The event kicked off with a pre-launch “pep rally” and an industry and media mingle the night before. Attendees were treated to a hardhat tour of the new OCC World Headquarters featuring an explanation of the layout as well as the many environmentally (“green”) conscious aspects of the design.

Back at the OCC shop, the guests toured the Montgomery facility, where they had the chance to meet and interact with OCCs entire motorcycle development and production team. They were then ushered to the main assembly floor where introductions were made and Paul Sr., and Paul Jr. guided the orientation. After the debut of the OCC Motorcycles bike line broadcast commercials, the bikes were unveiled one by one, along with a detailed description of each bikes distinctive features by shop foreman Mike Ammirati. Finally, the event was capped by a chance for guests to test out each one of the bikes on a group co-ride with Sr. and Jr., a fitting end to a history-making day at OCC.

A big crowd turned out to see the Teutels in Sturgis unveil their new line of motorcycles.

Next up was Sturgis where, on Tuesday, August 7, OCC unveiled the bike line for hundreds of excited onlookers at Metzelers 5th Annual Custom Bike Contest. Both Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. were on hand to unveil each one of the production bikes, talk about the design and fabrication process, engage in some Qamp;A with the crowd and sign autographs after the presentation. The OCC booth at Thunder Road was a contest hotspot, drawing a steady stream of fans and fellow builders all vying to catch their first glimpse of the SplitBack, the Web, the T-Rex Softail and the Greenie.

The Greenie

“Everyone at OCC would like to extend their sincere thanks,” said OCC founder Paul Teutul, Sr. “Not only to Metzeler for hosting us, but to out industry partners who have been such a vital part of this project from the beginning, as well as our fans and fellow builders who attended our Sturgis launch and helped make the event a memorable and momentous occasion for everyone involved.”

The T-Rex

The OCC Motorcycles Limited Edition Production Bike Line features four distinctive models: The SplitBack (the lines flagship, featuring a distinctive, wrap-around gas tank), the T-Rex Softail (a true chopper with solid, unsurpassed handling), the Greenie (an old-school bobber with new school construction) and the Web (a marvel of design and fabrication unlike anything else on the road).

The Web

Each bike will be designed and hand-assembled by the OCC production team. And, while the majority of parts will be manufactured on-site, OCC Motorcycles has also partnered with the best in the industry to ensure the highest level of quality and performance in every inch of these head-turning cycles.

The Splitback

An exclusive dealer network is being created to provide world-class sales, service and support to each and every OCC Motorcycles customer, both before and after purchase; the bike line will arrive at select dealerships nationwide later this year.
