“Pearl’s Jam” is a free, all-day event at the 85th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally celebrating women riders and their impact on motorcycle history. The first ever event will be held at the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum. “Pearl’s Jam” honors pioneers like Pearl Hoel, Gloria Struck, Jessi Combs, and others through film previews, guest speakers, and special exhibits dedicated to female motorcyclists.

What began as a 100th birthday celebration for Gloria Struck, quickly evolved into a huge party just all women who ride, wrench, race, and shape the motorcycle world. Happening Monday, August 4th during the 85th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, “Pearl’s Jam” is more than just an event—it’s a celebration of legacy, empowerment, and the powerful presence of women in motorcycling. “Pearl’s Jam” is named in honor of Pearl Hoel, co-founder of the Sturgis Rally and a pivotal figure in motorcycle culture. The full-day event offers something for every rider—whether you’re cruising Main Street or diving deep into the history and future of women in powersports.
