Funny Biker Greetings
Communication is something Lisa Harmon takes very seriously. The stand-up comedian says, “Getting the words and the feeling just right is important, and so is getting to the point quickly. But most important is getting a laugh—the goal is always to get a laugh!”
This is what her card company, Funny Biker Greetings, sets out to do. Her original greeting cards are designed to get a chuckle, specifically from motorcyclists. She explains, “I originally made these cards for my husband who is a biker. I had to make them because I couldn’t find anything like them, anywhere.”

Funny Biker Greetings: Roots
It is all in the name, Funny Biker Greetings. Lisa had plenty of funny ideas for birthday and anniversary cards, mostly about her and George’s riding life together, but little artistic ability to produce the cards. She started out making cards by cutting pictures out of magazines and then adding her jokes but realized that she needed a collaborator to create original works. She found her perfect partner when she learned that fellow stand-up comedian Geoffrey Krawczyk is not only funny, but also a talented artist.
“I could not have a better partner. The look and retro feel of the cards are because of Geoff,” Harmon says. “His vision brings my ideas to life. And we get so many compliments on the art.”
“Working with Lisa is great!” Geoff explains. “She’s got funny ideas and it’s always a treat to help bring them to life.” The artist now lives in Berlin, Germany, but maintains ties to New York City. In addition to illustrating, he also writes and draws comics. "I love doing Funny Biker Greetings,” he says. “My bread and butter is creating old school and retro style illustrations and biker greeting cards are the perfect vehicle for that kind of art (pun intended!)”
Quality Greetings
Funny Biker Greetings artwork is enhanced by the high-quality 14-point card stock it is printed on. Each card comes individually wrapped with an envelope and proudly produced in the USA. A friendly price point of less than $5 per card is more than reasonable, and there are shipping options for various budgets and time frames.
Funny Biker Greetings has received plenty of positive feedback since its recent startup. The cards have already been featured on Motorcycle Mayhem Radio, Arrive Alive Podcast, and in the ABATE newsletter. The company has retail partners in Brooklyn and Long Island, New York. Lisa states, “I’d love to increase traffic and sales, expand the business, and offer more cards and other products for motorcyclists.”
