International Female Ride Day
At WomenRidersNow.com we believe every day is Female Ride Day. That said, we all love a good reason to come together, celebrate, and show how many of us there are! 2022 will mark the 16th year of International Female Ride Day (IFRD,) originally founded by Canadian Vicki Gray, also known as Motoress. IFRD is a global day celebrating the cultural, social and active lifestyles of women who ride and enjoy motorcycling. The day also marks a call to action for fast-tracking gender equality, awareness, and respect for women in motorcycling and motorsport.
Many motorsports manufacturers are supporting IFRD around the country by providing access to vehicles and offering local rides. Check out Polaris Adventures locations near you, find local riding clubs to join, or maybe this is your excuse to learn or help a friend discover motorcycling through Harley-Davidson Rider Training. Prefer three wheels? Can-Am welcomes you to explore their offerings through Women of On-Road program too. Read more about how to get involved here.
However you choose to celebrate, we encourage you to post photos and comments on the WomenRidersNow.com Facebook Page, Facebook Group, or tag us @WomenRidersNow.com and #WomenRidersNow.com to share the experience!
